In the middle of the funeral vault, throned a big pedestal made with stones from the Nile, on which a precious wooden chest of respectable dimensions was rested. The lid of this chest was ornated in its center with a sculpture in ebony, representing the cut out of a cat’s head. Its edge was covered with gold leaves...
